    The first-ever World of Warcraft Arena Shoutcasting Contest has officially ended -- we'd like to thank everyone who participated! We're now in the process of judging the entries to select the best and most exciting Arena commentary. The winner will receive a Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC monitor and a code for the BlizzCon 2008 polar bear mount, and three runners-up will each receive a BlizzCon T-shirt along with the BlizzCon 2008 mount. We’ll be showcasing the winners soon, so stay tuned!

    Phase 4 of the 2009 Arena Tournament will be ending next Monday, April 20, at 9:00 p.m. PDT. Please keep in mind that this is the final phase of the tournament; the top eight teams from this phase will be invited to the 2009 Arena Tournament Regional Finals. Participants must remain on their team for the duration of the tournament to ensure prize eligibility.     Secrets of Ulduar, the new World of Warcraft content update, is now live! The gates of the mysterious titan stronghold of Ulduar have swung open, granting players access to an all-new level-80 raid dungeon with normal (10-person) and heroic (25-person) versions and optional hard-mode encounters for those seeking an additional challenge. Secrets of Ulduar also includes the new Argent Tournament in Icecrown Citadel, the dual-talent-specialization feature, multiple user-interface upgrades, and some significant changes to class talents and abilities. Be sure to visit your class trainer, as all talent points have been reset.

    Garona brings Twilight's Hammer down on the peace summit at Theramore, further setting back relations between the Horde and the Alliance. But all is not as it seems as mysterious outside forces continue to hatch a plan of disruption. Could someone possibly be secretly aligned with the Scourge?     As players begin to discover the many Secrets of Ulduar in patch 3.1, the Argent Crusade invites Azeroth's bravest heroes to prove their worth in the Argent Tournament. In preparation for a fatal blow against the Lich King and his Scourge, the Argent Crusade will be hosting competitive games, giving players another chance to build reputation with the capital cities of the Horde and Alliance. The most battle-hardened contestants will have access to a host of enticing items as the Argent Crusade begins construction on the Coliseum, where valorous battles testing the might of all challengers are to come.     Phase 4 of the 2009 World of Warcraft Arena tournament has begun. Tournament participants have battled fiercely for weeks in hopes of making it to the invitational ladder. Competitors now have one week to prove their worth as this final phase of the online qualification will last until April 20 at 9 p.m. PDT. For a list of the invited teams and to track their progress, please visit the World of Warcraft Armory. Top teams will earn a chance to participate in live events, including the global finals being held at BlizzCon.     For our recent contest, we challenged artists and designers to dream up the ultimate Blizzard Entertainment theme park, complete with the wildest rides and most inventive attractions they could conceive. Big congrats go out to Christina Marie DeLong for her detailed, grand-prize-winning depiction of Blizzard World, featuring such attractions as a terran combat simulator, a Diablo-themed petting zoo, and a thrilling flight around Outland's Netherwing Ledge.
